2017 Season cut short

Oct 28. 2017

Sorry to announce that my season is officially over. I damaged a tendon in the rotator cuff of my left shoulder while hitting balls on the range at Valderrama last week, and have been advised by specialists to have a period of complete rest, meaning I will be unable to compete on tour again this year.
It’s really disappointing to have to shut down the season this way. I had been lucky enough to receive invitations to play in the Turkish Airlines Open and the Nedbank Golf Challenge in the next 2 weeks and I am gutted not be able to fulfil those invites after tournament organisers and sponsors had all helped me secure spots in those events.
It’s been a disappointing year for me on the golf course, from both a fitness and playing point of view, but my recent form and results have been much improved, so I am staying really positive and looking forward to getting 100% fit over the next couple of months and being able to start
2018 ready to compete at the highest level.
I’ll keep you all updated on the recovery process, but I will hopefully be back playing in Abu Dhabi in January.
