Race to Dubai

The Arnold Palmer Invitational has now become Danny's home event on US soil following the decision by Danny and his family to make the switch to Orlando for the remainder of the PGA Season. Enjoying the luxury of staying at his Florida residence for the week certainly showed, as a very relaxed performance produced his best finish in front of Arnie's Army.
Consecutive opening rounds of 71 for Thursday and Friday left Danny in a strong position heading into the weekend. The conditions on Saturday were tough and a round of 77 still left Danny in with a good chance of making a push for his best finish of the season. Sam Haywood, Danny's regular caddie was not able to work on Sunday for medical reasons and so it was left to Danny's coach, Sean Foley to step up to the plate, which he did with his always positive attitude. The pair went on to shoot 73 and finish in a tie for 18th place.
The week finished on an even more positive note with Danny's good friend and Zurich Classic partner, Tyrrell Hatton taking the title.
